- Audi Service World Cup tests the brand's best service and technical experts worldwide
- 75 teams of Audi technicians and service consultants from 28 international countries participated in the international finals
- More than 7,800 participants representing 2,600 teams worldwide competed in the 2014 Audi Twin Cup altogether
Audi of America won first place during the 2014 Audi Twin Cup Challenge held in Neuburg, Germany last weekend. The international finals drew 75 teams of Audi technicians and service consultants from 28 countries worldwide, who participated in a rigorous competition in the areas of diagnostics, repair and customer support.
Audi of America team members included: Nicholas Smith from Hoehn Audi, Aaron Klimchuk from Audi Silver Spring, Larry Laing from Sunset Audi, Sean Lofyus from Barrier Audi, Matthew Kelley from Audi Chandler and Michael Sabia from Danbury Audi.

To become one of the six Audi of America team members, technicians and service consultants from the U.S. and Canada had to complete all of the Audi Academy certification requirements in their job category and participate in a three-round elimination testing process. The first and second rounds involved online testing, while the third round involved hands-on practical skills. All dealerships that have a service contract with AUDI AG are eligible to compete.
More than 7,800 service consultants and technicians representing 2,600 teams worldwide participated in the 2014 Audi Twin Cup. The technicians and service consultants from Germany took second place in the final competition, followed by the team from China in third.
