MURRAY HILL, N.J.and NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J., July 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Linde LLC signed a contract to supply liquid oxygen, nitrogen and argon to Conroe Welding Supply, Inc, an independent distributor located in Conroe, Texas. Conroe Welding Supply, for the past 35 years, has been serving the East Texas market with welding equipment and industrial and safety supplies, as well as industrial, beverage and medical gas products.

"With their five locations in East Texas, they provide Linde with an excellent channel to serve that expanding market from our air separation unit (ASU) in La Porte."
The ASU is part of a more than $200 million Linde investment that will also include a gasification train and supporting equipment and facilities. The ASU, the largest such Linde plant in the U.S., will supply liquid oxygen, nitrogen and argon to the rapidly growing market for industrial gases in the Houston Ship Channel area.
