FAIRFAX, Va., Aug. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AFCEA International announced today that it has selected Dell as a Strategic Partner. AFCEA strategic partners are member companies that are distinguished by the significant service, support and participation they provide to help the association fulfill its mission.
In collaboration with its partners, Dell will help the AFCEA staff implement a desktop virtualization solution that will enable secure access to user desktops from any computer and moves AFCEA into a more efficient, thin-client environment. In addition, Dell will be providing two new LCD screens for every desktop in the headquarters building. These contributions will increase flexibility for users and reduce long-term maintenance costs.
Dell has been an AFCEA International corporate member since 1993, and has been active with the association in a variety of ways, including serving on committees, supporting and exhibiting at events, and providing expertise to contribute to member education.
