Columbia Sportswear's First Performance Fishing Gear Store in Texas is coming to Southlake Town Square

SOUTHLAKE, Texas, Aug. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Retail Properties of America, Inc. (NYSE: RPAI or the "Company") is excited to announce that Columbia Sportswear's Performance Fishing Gear "PFG" concept store, plus several additional retailers, including Altar'd State, Elaine Turner, ME SPA and J.Jill have recently opened, or will be opening, at Southlake Town Square in Southlake, Texas.

Columbia Sportswear is a leading innovator in the global outdoor apparel, footwear, accessories and equipment industries. Columbia Sportswear's PFG store, the first of its kind in Texas, will feature the company's popular PFG collection, recognized by anglers worldwide for its technical innovation, style and comfort. The 3,456 square foot store will be located at 1253 Main Street and is expected to open in late November 2014.

Also joining Southlake Town Square is Altar'd State, Elaine Turner, ME SPA and J.Jill.

Altar'd State will be located near the recently opened HMK and is an energetic fashion boutique that offers a distinctive shopping experience for women interested in the latest fashion finds, the most anticipated accessories and that next great gift, all while supporting civic involvement and philanthropy through Altar'd State's "Give Back" Brands. The store is 5,162 square feet and is expected to open in fall 2014.

Elaine Turner is scheduled to open in October 2014. The 2,066 square foot boutique will feature handbags, shoes, jewelry and accessories by Elaine Turner, as well as other local and national brands. This will be Elaine Turner's eighth location, and the sixth location in the state of Texas.

ME SPA is a new acquisition by the Los Angeles based company, Me! Bath. ME SPA replaces Coldwater Creek Spa on Grand Ave. West near Coach and across from Brio Tuscan Grille and features their unique product line, Advanced Body Care, and other bath and body products for a contemporary, luxury spa experience. ME SPA is now open.

J.Jill is a leading multi-channel fashion retailer of women's apparel, accessories and footwear. J.Jill will be located at 279 Grand Ave. across from Anthropologie and is expected to open in spring 2015.

Southlake Town Square consists of approximately 850,000 square feet and boasts more than 125 specialty retail shops and restaurants including Apple, Michael Kors, J.Crew and White House Black Market. The center is also home to a 14-screen Harkins Theatre, an upscale urban Hilton Hotel, offices, city and county government buildings, a U.S. Post Office and residential brownstones. The center opened in 1999.

"The number of new brands choosing Southlake Town Square reflects the strength of the center and demonstrates RPAI's commitment to attracting first-to-market and unique retailers," said Jason Kasal, vice president, senior leasing director, south region. "We couldn't be more excited to have the first Columbia PFG store in Texas joining our center at approximately the same time as Altar'd State, Elaine Turner, ME SPA and J.Jill, further strengthening our position as a premier shopping and dining destination."
