Constellation Brands Inc: Constellation Brands Issues Statement Regarding Glass Supply Contract with Vitro

VICTOR, N.Y., August 15, 2014 - Constellation Brands, Inc. (NYSE: STZ and STZ.B), a leading beverage alcohol company, today issued the following statement regarding its recently announced supply contract with Vitro (S.A.B. de C.V.).

As previously discussed by Constellation Brands, the company is currently in the process of finalizing a comprehensive, optimal glass sourcing strategy for its beer business.

While the company has entered into a long-term glass supply agreement with Vitro (S.A.B. de C.V.) for approximately 25%-30% of its beer glass needs, this is just one part of the company's evolving glass strategy. 

The company is not currently in a position to discuss its overall glass strategy, however additional details are expected to be provided when appropriate.
