- Hybrid Cloud OS Microsoft strategy requires new role of service providers
IS Group, Dutch market leader in cloud computing and IT Services signed an agreement with Microsoft to deliver hybrid cloud computing solutions for business-critical e-commerce websites, media services and Software-as-a-Service companies. This collaboration symbolizes the new role of the service provider.
HYBRID CLOUDS
Central to this collaboration is the so-called hybrid cloud. This makes it possible to connect separate components of an IT infrastructure (on-premise, private cloud and public cloud) so that applications and data can run at the most suitable place. This can be a particular location or country, or even distributed all over the world. Microsoft Azure provides cloud capacity on a global scale. IS takes care of the 24/7 management of the hybrid cloud environment and offers a wide range of managed services as well as extensive monitoring and reporting possibilities.
