Hatfield Philips Provides Third Quarter Business Update

- Provided due diligence and advisory services on 28 NPL deals across 20 jurisdictions, totaling more than $51.0 billion in 2014 -

- Appoints Wilhelm Hammel as Head of NPL Advisory -

LONDON, Nov. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Hatfield Philips International ("HPI" or "the Company"), together with LNR Europe, is a leading NPL and debt advisory firm with best-in-class loan servicing capabilities, today provided a business update on its operations for the third quarter of 2014 and announced it has appointed Wilhelm Hammel as Head of NPL Advisory. Mr. Hammel will continue to oversee the firm's operations in Frankfurt, Germany.

In the third quarter, HPI provided due diligence and advisory services on 10 NPL deals across nine jurisdictions totaling more than $18.3 billion. The Company also added more than $1.7 billion to its loan servicing book and continues to make progress in building out its new Debt Advisory and Transaction Management business.

As Head of NPL Advisory, Mr. Hammel will be responsible for serving the firm's existing clients and driving new NPL business opportunities. He will be supported by a highly skilled team of proven professionals and will report directly to Mr. Lewis. Since joining HPI in 2012, Mr. Hammel has played a key role in the firm's success and cultivated a vast network of relationships with European debt market participants. Prior to joining HPI, Mr. Hammel served in senior level roles at a number of reputable institutions including Elystan Capital, Lehman Brothers Real Estate Private Equity Fund, Eurohypo and KPMG, closing more than €3.0 billion in debt and equity transactions.
