exceet Acquires M2M Specialist LUCOM
LUCOM adds secure products for remote service, automation and
communications technology to exceet M2M solution portfolio.
Luxemburg, December 5, 2014 - exceet Group is acquiring 100% of shares in
LUCOM GmbH Elektrokomponenten & Systeme, a leading provider of industrial
routers based in Zirndorf (Germany). LUCOM's DIGICLUSTER VPN portal offers
an easy approach to M2M projects. LUCOM generates sales of approx. EUR 4
million per year.
exceet offers its clients an end-to-end approach to solutions, from
innovative concepts to the transformation of business models. Industrial
routers and VPN solutions by LUCOM now complement exceet's highly
customer-specific portfolio. LUCOM is known for its strong variant
portfolio, individualized services and long-standing experience. Services
by LUCOM provide smart and secure solutions that are particularly well
suited to M2M ventures.
In future, LUCOM will act as an integral component of the exceet Secure
Solutions business unit, which specializes in consulting and implementation
services for M2M, security and eHealth solutions.
