Gladengveien DA has awarded Veidekke Entreprenoer the contract to build 80 flats in the two neighbouring projects Verkshagen and Stålverkskroken at Ensjoe. The projects will be executed as a turnkey contract valued at NOK 146 million, excluding VAT.
"With Stålverksparken recently completed and Gladengen Park finished in the autumn, these two new projects will bring our combined contribution to 180 flats for Gladengveien DA in the area. The two projects will each have 40 flats ranging from 42 to 116 square metres in size. They will have from two to four rooms, and 11 of the largest flats will have a separate bedsit section. The buildings will be constructed of in situ concrete with prefabricated balcony and stair elements. The façades will primarily be cast with aluminium sheets. All flats will have separate balconies or ground floor terraces, and there will be a common roof terrace at the top of the building. The cellar will include storage rooms and a parking facility for cars and bicycles.
Veidekke will commence foundation work for Verkshagen in the first quarter of 2015. Occupation of the flats is planned from Q3 in 2016.
