Armin Steiner to Take Up Board Position at Beta Systems

The supervisory board at Beta Systems Software AG has appointed Armin Steiner (39) to the board of Beta Systems Software AG, effective 1^st August 2015. Steiner, who holds degrees in business administration and information systems management, will head up several areas at Beta Systems, including finance and controlling, legal affairs, human resources, corporate functions, development and support as well as mergers and acquisitions. He will manage the company on an equal, dual-leadership basis with Dr. Andreas Huth (cf. press release dated 4 February 2015).

Armin Steiner began his career at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and KPMG. During his eight-year period as a consultant, he managed various projects for midsized and international companies, including as authorized signatory. One of his main responsibilities was the design and implementation of management information systems, where he gained extensive experience in the financial and software development sectors. In 2008, Armin Steiner was appointed as CEO of IN tIME Express Logistik GmbH with responsibility for several areas, including finance and controlling, investor relations, legal affairs, mergers and acquisitions, the European network and parts of the company's IT. Under Armin Steiner's management, the logistics service provider - which is active throughout Europe - was able to almost triple its revenues and profits and more than double its employee headcount by 2014. His tasks there also included the acquisition and successful integration of two companies.

Armin Steiner holds degrees from Würzburg University in Germany and the University of Texas at Austin in the USA (business administration with a focus on finance and accounting, information systems management and logistics). He is also a member of the advisory board of a software company active throughout Germany.
