Fabasoft awarded a place upon the UK Government's online marketplace for the public sector
The European software manufacturer and cloud provider Fabasoft has been awarded a place upon the G-Cloud 6 Agreement for its cloud service, the Fabasoft Cloud, its consultancy service, Fabasoft Professional Services and Mindbreeze InSpire, the enterprise search appliance.
The G-Cloud: the UK's hub for cloud computing in the public sector
Conceived as a medium for simplifying the buying and selling of digital services in the UK's public sector, G-Cloud (also known as Government Cloud Computing) has advocated government-wide adoption of cloud computing since launching in 2012. The initiative strives to make public services more efficient and accessible through promoting cost- effective, versatile technology. G-Cloud consists both of framework agreements with service providers that grant public sector organisations access to services and an online store that lists services covered by the G-Cloud frameworks.
Listing opens doors for Fabasoft in UK public sector
G-Cloud provides a tremendous growth opportunity for Fabasoft in the UK. Governmental bureaus, municipal authorities and public organisations can now access Fabasoft's software and services at a click.
"We are honoured to be featured on G-Cloud, which has done so much to promote cloud computing in the governmental arena", said Hansjoerg Gruber, Business Unit Executive Cloud Services, "We are delighted that our solutions will be available to a wider UK audience."
