Dr Hans Cornehl, Chief Executive Officer of ZEAL Network SE, today informed
the Supervisory Board of the company that he did not wish to renew his
contract when it runs out on 31 December 2015. After thirteen years on the
Executive Board of the company, with a period of four years of those as the
CEO, Cornehl is planning to take up new career challenges. The Supervisory
Board has accepted his decision with regret and thanks Dr Cornehl for his
exceptionally successful work on the strategic realignment and further
development of the company.
The Supervisory Board has decided to appoint Dr Helmut Becker to succeed Dr
Cornehl as the new Chief Executive Officer of ZEAL Network SE. Since 1 June
2013, Dr Becker has been Chief Marketing Officer at ZEAL on the Executive
Board. Previously, he held a number of top management positions including
Chief Commercial Officer on the Executive Board at XING AG, and various
management positions at eBay Deutschland. Up until he joined the Executive
Board, he also served as a member of the Supervisory Board of ZEAL for two
years.
