China's Trina Solar - a vertically integrated, Tier-1 solar company - has reportedly signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh government in India for the development of a Rs 2,800 crore ($518 million) solar plant in the state. According to a report by India's Economic Times, the solar farm will be located at Atchutapuram in the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh, and the MoU was signed by Trina Solar VP Chen Shou Chung and India's Industries Secretary SS Rawat in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
