Carrier aggregation combines a wide range of the available spectrum at the same time to increase download and upload speeds.

Though carrier aggregation is not a widespread concept currently, it has already been implemented in South Korea. In 2016, it will also be implemented in the US as well. In Europe and China, full user coverage of LTE networks has resulted in the integration of more than one specific type of surface acoustic wave (SAW) or bulk acoustic wave (BAW) filters, thereby increasing the ASP at the component level.
