Skanska (STO:SKAB) has acquired about 3,000 square meters of land in Warsaw, Poland. The total investment amounts to EUR 43M, about SEK 410M.
The plot is located next to the ONZ Roundabout, in the central location of the city. The estimated gross leasable potential is about 60,000 square meters. With this purchase, Skanska Property Poland will become a significant developer in the area between the ONZ and Daszynskiego roundabouts in Warsaw.
The plot is situated in the vicinity of other Skanska projects in the city center and rapidly growing Wola district Generation Park and Spark being under construction, Atrium 1, and Atrium 2 which has just been officially opened.
