Executives from both BayWa Renewable Energy and Huawei met earlier in the week in Shenzhen, China, to finalize a deal that will see Huawei supply its string inverters to an initial 400 MW of BayWa's solar projects. It is a significant deal for the Chinese company, as it looks imprint itself further on the European market, and to prove that string inverters belong at utility-scale projects.
