NTT Communications to present future-oriented scenarios for Formula 1, football/smart stadium, IoT, virtual reality and artificial intelligence
NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT Group (NYSE: NTT), announced today that it will be represented at this year's CeBIT as part of NTT Group's exhibition.
At stand A38 (69) in Hall 4, as part of the Japan Pavilion, NTT Group will showcase how digitalization pervades all areas of business life and enables new business ideas, focusing on global network solutions with an integrated ICT platform to Internet of Things (IoT), virtual reality and smart city applications.
NTT Communications will show the brand new McLaren Honda Formula 1 car, the MCL32, and highlight its solutions with McLaren including global network, Enterprise Cloud, and cloud management platforms.
Internet of Things (IoT) is high on the agenda for NTT Communications, as is artificial intelligence (AI). We will demonstrate a remote maintenance system that helps staff when carrying out maintenance, inspection and repair work, preventing accidents on construction sites and when driving.
AI applications from NTT Communications, used in computer support centers, identify faults early, so that predictive maintenance can be undertaken in good time, increasing productivity and reducing downtimes.
Last but not least, NTT Communications together with NTT Docomo and NTT Data will simulate use of the Internet of Things (IoT) not only to avoid traffic jams and increase travel safety but also for autonomous buses or systems to predict traffic jams and control traffic lights.
