The project, comprising two 65 MW solar farms at Bhadla, Rajasthan, has been built by Vikram Solar for India's National Thermal Power Corporation. Azure Power, meanwhile, wins tender to develop 46 MW of rooftop solar for Indian Railways.Vikram Solar, an Indian module manufacturer and solar power plant developer, has commissioned 130 MW of solar PV capacity in the Indian state of Rajasthan for the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC).
The project at Bhadla Solar Park forms part of the Phase-II development process, and has been conducted under the State Specific Bundling Scheme, which 'bundles' thermal power from the NTPC Singraui thermal power station with solar energy being installed at the Bhadla project.
Vikram Solar completed the solar installation as two 65 MW solar plants, and the firm has also signed a five-year O&M contract with the NTPC to ensure the arrays' smooth running.
