Cosmo Pharmaceuticals Antrag auf Kündigung der
Lizenzvereinbarung mit Valeant vom Schiedsgericht abgelehnt
Dublin - 12. April 2018 - Cosmo Pharmaceuticals N.V. (SIX: COPN) informierte, das ICC-Schiedsgericht habe entschieden, ungeachtet Cosmos Klage, Valeant verstosse nicht gegen die Uceris-Lizenzvereinbarung. Cosmo muss Valeant ca. USD 3 Mio. an Gerichtskosten erstatten.

Wir taten dies aus der Überzeugung, damit die Interessen der Aktionäre am besten zu schützen. Obwohl wir auf eine ganz andere Entscheidung gehofft haben, hat dieses Ergebnis keinerlei Auswirkungen auf unsere bestehenden Aktivitäten, Pläne und Finanzprognosen. Was Uceris angeht, wird die Lizenz unter den bestehenden wirtschaftlichen Bedingungen in Kraft bleiben", sagte Alessandro Della Chà, Chief Executive Officer von Cosmo Pharmaceuticals.

Die von Cosmo entwickelte MMX-Technologie bildet den Kern der Produktpipeline des Unternehmens und wurde aus der Erfahrung bei der Formulierung und Herstellung von Magen-Darm-Medikamenten für internationale Kunden in den eigenen GMP-Anlagen (Good Manufacturing Practice) in Lainate, Italien, entwickelt.
