SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Freeborders, the most advanced provider of IT and software application outsourcing solutions from China, today announced the hiring of Alex Anvari as VP of Strategic Accounts. Anvari will work with senior leadership teams of Freeborders' Fortune 1000 clients to deliver world-class custom applications.
"We're excited to add Alex to our team," said John Cestar, co-CEO, Freeborders. "He will help us respond to the enormous demand for application outsourcing solutions from financial services companies. His expertise in service delivery to Fortune 1000 companies will complement our track record and process maturity."
During the past eight years at Oracle, Anvari was an executive consultant for several of the world's largest financial services companies. As the Global Program Director for large-scale applications projects, Anvari managed and deployed mission-critical systems to Oracle's biggest banking, capital markets and insurance customers.
While at Oracle, Anvari was the thought leader for developing new methodologies and tool sets to tailor and deploy applications to new business units and geographies. At Freeborders, Anvari will manage the design and delivery of world-class custom applications that leverage the best skills for the appropriate technical platforms.
According to NeoIT, an offshore advisory firm, China's annual software exports will reach $15 billion by 2005, establishing the country as the clear No. 2 location for technology outsourcing, second only to India. Cestar believes that process maturity will be the key factor in determining where and to which provider those billions will flow.
"I believe Freeborders has a unique opportunity to establish unparalleled leadership in technology outsourcing from China," said Anvari. "I look forward to helping Freeborders execute and deliver for our customers."
