Customers must, first, call 1-87RESCUE42 (877-372-8342) and give a certified online technician permission to access their computer via the Internet. Then, the remote removal of unwanted spyware and viruses begins.

In addition, Cyber Check is guaranteed: customers have the ability to end a remote session at any time; and if EarthLink Cyber Check representatives fail to remedy the customer's problem, EarthLink will grant a refund.
CyberCheck customers must permit EarthLink to have remote access to his/her PC, enlist Cyber Check's service for his/her home computer only, have broadband Internet service, and have Windows 2000 or XP. This service is not currently available for Macintosh users.
