SOLON, Ohio, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Fiberstars, Inc. , the global leader in fiber optic lighting, today announced the completed installation of Fiberstars EFO(R) at the Uferstadt Ostium offices in Fuerth, Germany. EFO is Fiberstars' efficient fiber optic lighting system, designed to provide bright accent lighting with no heat and low maintenance costs.
The Uferstadt Ostium offices comprise one million square feet of office space in several buildings. During a refurbishment project that began in 2004, 36 EFO systems were installed in the entrance of the main building to provide general illumination. With the success of this project, Fiberstars EFO was chosen for a second installation of 144 fixtures, including decorative fixtures in seating areas and above reception counters.
