WEST CHESTER, Pa., Nov. 27, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Customers embraced all of the joy, none of the craziness with record results as QVC observed its largest Black Friday ever. The multimedia retailer realized more than $42 million in sales.
Customers were invited to begin their holiday shopping not long after the Thanksgiving turkey was put away with QVC's The New Black Friday. The special programming event featured the season's best deals on select, new gifts and While Supplies Last prices on limited-quantity, in-demand items. QVC.com offered additional specially priced products and featured online countdown offers in every hour.

Several products contributed to QVC's Black Friday success including the PanImage 7" Touchscreen Google Android WiFi Tablet, the Sharp AQUOS Quattron LED/LCD TV, the Canon EOS Rebel T2i Digital SLR Camera, the philosophy limited-edition hope in a jar and the Mario 25th Anniversary Red Nintendo Wii Gaming System with Accessories. Additionally, QVC.com played an integral role, contributing more than 40 percent of the day's sales.
QVC's holiday shopping season continues throughout the month of December. Customers can shop with confidence as QVC has once again extended its return policy. Gifts purchased between now and December 23, 2010, may be returned up until January 31, 2011.
