The new no-rinse eye and ear products, available exclusively to licensed veterinarians in the U.S. and Canada for the inhibition of infection, accelerates the healing process. The two-ounce Ophthalmic Wash and the four-ounce Otic Rinse do not cause any harm to healthy tissue or sting when applied.
The antimicrobial solution found in the Ophthalmic Wash and Otic Rinse inhibits antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria (including staph and MRSA) as well as fungi, viruses and spores. It consists of oxychlorine compounds similar to those produced by the animal's own immune system. Both products are steroid-free, antibiotic-free and contain no alcohol or iodine.
The Vetericyn VF Ophthalmic Wash cleans wounds, eliminates the eye infections caused by viruses or fungi, and inhibits bacteria. Used during regular grooming, the one-step Wash cleans eyes and prevents infection. It also works as a no-rinse flush to relieve irritated eyes, or debride eye abrasions and wounds in the surrounding area of the eye. The bottle features a twist-top for ease of application, especially useful for spray-adverse animals such as cats. The Wash is 100 percent biocompatible and non-toxic, making it safe if licked or ingested.
The Vetericyn VF Otic Rinse inhibits infections, cleans wounds, and speeds the healing process in the outer ear and ear canal.
