It was announced today by Thommen Medical AG that its executive board and shareholders have appointed Todd Fridrich, CDT, FNBC as General Manager of its subsidiary, Thommen Medical USA. Fridrich, who previously held the title of Vice President of Training & Education for Thommen Medical USA since 2005, took over this new role as of March 10, 2013. The appointment of Fridrich signals a renewed focus on achieving the next level of Thommen's expansion of market share and the customer experience in the US.

Fridrich has been in the dental industry for over 25 years and much of this time was spent in educational roles. He has served as a Dental Technology instructor at the University of Iowa and as a faculty instructor of the Continuum on Implant Dentistry at the University of Florida. He is a Fellow of the National Board for Certification and previously of the International Team for Implantology. Fridrich lectures frequently and has international experience presenting various aspects of restorative dentistry.
