Fora Care Suisse AG located in St. Gallen, Switzerland, announced today it will be exhibiting at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) meeting September 23-27, 2013 in the Barcelona, Spain at The Fira de Barcelona's Gran Via exhibition to showcase the latest in professional diabetes measurement and consumer BP monitoring technology. Fora Care will present its FORA COMFORT pro GD40 blood glucose-monitoring device, with 5-Electrode Technology, offering the highest clinical accuracy and system performance available. Glucose results can be falsely high or falsely low, depending on the hematocrit level, potentially leading to incorrect insulin dosage or even an incorrect diagnosis. Since variations in hematocrit are a major source of errors in blood glucose measurement, Fora Care's 5-Electrode Technology measures hematocrit level and offsets the impact on measurement and meets the New guidelines for monitoring impact from hematocrit levels added to the new ISO 15197:2013.

Fora Care will demonstrate its newest blood pressure (BP) monitor, FORA Diamond Cuff BP, that provides simple and convenient upload of BP readings, via Bluetooth, to iFORA BP, a free mobile app available on iOS (including iPhone®) and Android® platforms. This newest offering is an extension to the Total and Complete Mobility solution.
iFORA BP tracks systolic and diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate and provides weekly and monthly graphical trends that can be exported or shared with family or physicians with data that may also be exported. The app allows the user to apply personal notes to each result and provides a tutorial with tips to help users better manage their blood pressure for better health.
