The "cloud submit" feature leverages the platforms most favored by educators for creating, sharing and storing student assignments to more easily check writing assignments for originality and allow instructors to save time by grading the assignments online using Turnitin.
The new submission process will also make it easier for students and instructors to submit papers to Turnitin using mobile devices. Files from Google Drive or Dropbox in the following formats will be accepted by Turnitin in their existing format: MS Word, WordPerfect, PostScript, PDF, HTML, RTF, OpenOffice (ODT), Hangul (HWP) and plain text. Work stored in the Google Drive format will automatically convert to a PDF file as it's submitted to Turnitin.
