Lavastorm Analytics, a leading agile data management and analytics software company, today announced the addition of Vincent De Gennaro as the company's Vice President of Enterprise Sales, EMEA. With more than 30 years of experience in sales and business development, De Gennaro's expertise will drive Lavastorm Analytics next phase of rapid growth in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
In his new role at Lavastorm, De Gennaro will lead, develop, and expand the EMEA sales team, work closely with partners in the region, and refine the company's overall sales and business development strategy. De Gennaro will also accelerate Lavastorm's growth in the region by working with existing customers and new prospects in the company's fastest growing markets: financial services, communications, energy, and retail. De Gennaro's deep knowledge of the enterprise software buying process, proven track record of successful sales management, and thorough understanding of the analytics and data management ecosystem will be an invaluable resource for Lavastorm in this growth period and beyond.

Previously, De Gennaro served as Vice President at Actuate Inc., an embedded analytics company. While in this position, De Gennaro headed the EMEA sales team and doubled its sales revenue. Prior to that, De Gennaro held the positions of President of EMEA at Brio Software, Inc., and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Sagent Technology, Inc. During his career he also held senior sales management positions at Modexo Ltd., Jaspersoft, Pilot Software, Software AG, Informix, and Sybase.
