BRC Global Standards is to launch BRC Global Standards Professional, an award programme for technical and quality personnel who wish to become recognised as an expert on the BRC Global Standard relevant to their site's scope of certification. The first phase will be launched in October 2016 aimed at manufacturers who adopt the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety.

The programme is open to all personnel involved in managing the implementation of the requirements of the Standard, and has been designed to enable individuals to tailor their own learning requirements. Individuals can register on BRC's online learning platform BRC Educate, before choosing the courses they need to complete the programme. Courses will be advertised on the BRC Global Standards website, and will be run by both the BRC Academy and BRC Approved Training Partners. In addition, BRC Professional delegates will benefit from regular updates, select-access webinars - where they can raise questions directly to the Standard Managers - as well as exclusive discounts on BRC Global Standards events and BRC Participate.
