Estes Express Lines today announced a new organizational
structure that will benefit its customers by deepening regional ties,
enhancing local operations and strengthening the company's nationwide
presence. Between now and the first of the year, Estes will be
implementing five new territories--Northeast, Southeast, Midwest,
Southwest and West--directed by seasoned professionals who will be
local sources for decision-making authority and management.
Territory managers include Legree Oswald, Regional Vice President of Estes Southeast; Bob O'Connor, Regional Vice President of Estes Northeast; John Rodgers, Regional Vice President of Estes Southwest and Estes Midwest; and Bill Reid, President of Estes West. The new territory managers will maintain dual reporting relationships to Vice President of Corporate Sales Chuck Parker and Vice President of Corporate Operations J.T. Johnson Jr. Both Parker and Johnson will assume broader roles to focus on consistency among the regions.
The two corporate vice presidents will report to Estes Executive Vice President Billy Hupp, who has also been appointed chief operating officer for the organization.
This nationwide regional management approach will further develop the company's regional identity and allow Estes to maintain its flagship, premium service standards within each of those regions. The changes will also help to drive efficiencies within the organization on a much broader scale and to support Estes Express Lines' continued growth as a major player in the industry.
