ANKARA, Aug 6 (Reuters) - Private Turkish firm MEKA MMEKA submitted the highest bid of $1.211 billion for an 80 percent stake in the natural gas distribution grid serving the city of Ankara, the Privatisation Administration (OIB) said on Monday.
Seven firms were competing in the tender for the gas grid, which has 1.2 million subscribers.
MEKA, a largely unknown firm, won tenders for two major power distribution grids last week.
