MADRID, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Moody's Investor Service's downgrade of Spain's credit rating by one notch on Thursday was 'excessivey pessimistic,' Economy Secretary Jose Manuel Campa told Reuters.
However, Campa also said the government was satisfied with Moody's evaluation of fiscal measures.
Moody's said the government's vow to reduce the fiscal deficit was a big factor in cutting the country's ratings by just one notch instead of two.
