LISBON (AFX) - The Portuguese government plans to fully privatise the ANA airports authority and not retain a stake in the company, Diario Economico reported citing an official source at the Ministry of Public works.
The government announced Friday that it plans to privatise 50 pct plus one share of ANA, maintaining a minority stake.
Diario Economico cited unnamed sector sources as saying that it does not make much sense for the Portuguese state to maintain a minority stake in ANA, as it is linking the privatisation of the airports authority to the 3.1 bln eur planned bid to construct the new OTA airport in Lisbon.
