The top movies at the North American box office

LOS ANGELES, Sept 13 (Reuters) - Following are the top 10 films at the North American box office for the three-day weekend beginning on Sept. 11, led by the new release 'I Can Do Bad All By Myself,' according to studio estimates compiled on Sunday by Reuters.

2 (*) 9 ............................ $10.9 million

3 (2) Inglourious Basterds ......... $ 6.5 million

4 (3) All About Steve .............. $ 5.8 million

5 (1) The Final Destination ........ $ 5.5 million

6 (*) Sorority Row ................. $ 5.3 million

7 (*) Whiteout ..................... $ 5.1 million

8 (5) District 9 ................... $ 3.6 million

9 (7) Julie & Julia ................ $ 3.3 million

10 (4) Gamer ........................ $ 3.2 million

'I Can Do Bad All By Myself' and 'Gamer' were released by Lionsgate, a unit of Lions Gate Entertainment Corp.

'9' was released by Focus Features, a unit of General Electric Co's Universal Pictures.

'Inglourious Basterds' was released by Weinstein Co. The closely held firm co-financed 'Inglourious Basterds' with Universal Pictures.

'All About Steve' was released by 20th Century Fox, a unit of News Corp.

'The Final Destination' was released by Warner Bros Pictures, a unit of Time Warner Inc.

'Sorority Row' was released by Summit Entertainment, which is closely held.

'District 9' was released by TriStar Pictures, and 'Julie & Julia' by Columbia Pictures. Both are units of Sony Corp .
