Anti-treaty group says Irish backed EU treaty

DUBLIN, Oct 3 (Reuters) - The leader of anti-Lisbon group Libertas said on Saturday Irish voters had convincingly approved the European Union's Lisbon reform treaty in a referendum.

'This is a very convincing win,' Declan Ganley told reporters at the main Dublin counting centre, one day after the referendum. 'Of course I am disappointed, I think we have made a mistake.'

The millionaire businessman was a leading force in Ireland's rejection of the Lisbon treaty in 2008.
