DOVER, Del., Nov. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- At their meeting held on November 4, 2009, the Board of Directors of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.315 per share on the Company''s common stock, representing $1.26 per share on an annualized basis. The $0.315 per share dividend will be paid January 5, 2010 to all shareholders of record at the close of business on December 14, 2009.

Chesapeake has paid a cash dividend to common stock shareholders for forty-nine consecutive years.
