NEW DELHI, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Kuldip Singh, currently a director with Indian state-run Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd , has been appointed as the acting chairman and managing director of the company, effective Friday.
'Yes, I have taken over from today,' Singh told Reuters by telephone.
Former Chairman R.S.P. Sinha had resigned from his post and Thursday was his last day with the company, Singh said.
