HOUSTON, Mach 18 (Reuters) - Chevron Corp said operations were normal at the company's 279,000 barrel per day (bpd) Los Angeles-area refinery on Thursday after restarting a gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracker shut on Tuesday due to an instrument problem.
The malfunction was quickly corrected and the company began restarting the FCC on Wednesday.
