PHILADELPHIA, March 21 (Reuters) - UBS AG is in talks with China about establishing a renminbi-denominated private equity fund, The Financial Times reported on Sunday.
The talks are at a 'preliminary' stage, with no decisions made over structure, size or personnel, the newspaper reported in its electronic edition.
If successful, the first would be the first of its kind involving a global investment bank and a Chinese municipal body, the FT reported.
UBS could not be immediately reached for comment.
