NEW YORK (AFX) -- The Nasdaq Composite was shedding 19 points to 2,028, and was poised to post its fourth-straight weekly decline for the first time in six months if it closes below 2,034. The Nasdaq has now lost 147 points, or 6.8 percent since the end of 2004. The last time the Nasdaq fell four straight weeks was from the week ending July 2, 2004 to the week ending July 23, when it lost 158 points, or 7.9 percent. If the Dow were to close below 10,392.99, it would suffer its fifth straight weekly decline since the week ending June 18, 2004 to the week ending July 23, when it lost 454.19 points, or 4.4 percent.
