LISBON (AFX) - Brisa Auto-estradas de Portugal SGPS said it has raised its stake in the Kapsch Telematic Services joint venture it operates with Kapsch Traffic Com AG to 26 pct from a previous 15 for 3 mln eur.
In a statement, Brisa said that KTS' 168 toll booths for heavy vehicles on Czech motorways have been average generating revenues of 500,000 eur per day since the government of the country started charging tolls for these kinds of vehicles on 934 kilometres of motorway.
Before the stake hike, Kapsch held 70 pct of KTS, while and Brisa and Autoroutes Paris-Rhin-Rhone each held 15 pct.
