BRUSSELS (AFX) - Holding group Compagnie Nationale a Portefeille recorded consolidated net profit of 417.9 mln eur for the full year, down 10.1 pct from last year's total of 464.6 mln.
The group said it will recommend a gross dividend of 0.68 eur per share, up 7 pct year-on-year.
It added its operating profits from long-term investments were up 5.3 pct at 103 mln eur, despite 'significant developments that have influenced the portfolio (among the acquisitions of 2006, only two have generated a dividend).'
For 2007 the operating profit under restricted consolidation 'will depend on the level of dividends distributed by each of the shareholdings,' the group said.
At a constant portfolio, CNP is expecting 'a significant increase' in operating profits from long-term investments for 2007.
