MADRID (Thomson Financial) - Isolux Corsan SA and Construcciones y Auxiliares FFCC SA have teamed up to present a bid by the end of April for a contract to build a train link in Brazil between the center of Sao Paulo and the airport, sources close to the deal told Thomson Financial News.
Construction will cost some 500 mln eur, with the question of whether it will be financed with private or public money still undecided, the sources said. If it is privately financed, the contract will include a management period.
Isolux and CAF will compete with four other groups for the project.
The consortium will be formed 37 pct by Isolux, 15 pct by CAF, with the rest made up of Brazilian builders Encalso, Engevix and Italy's Ehella, the sources noted. tfn.europemadrid@thomson.com cl/ccs/ic COPYRIGHT Copyright AFX News Limited 2007.
