AMSTERDAM (Thomson Financial) - A consortium of Italian, Spanish and French companies including Vinci has won a contract involving engineering work at the Dutch LNG terminal from Gate terminal BV, a joint venture involving Royal Vopak NV and the Dutch Gas Union.
The consortium also includes Techint, Sener and Entrepose.
Gate terminal said the contract involves engineering, procurement and construction activities in relation to the planned LNG receiving and regasification terminal at the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam.
Gate terminal expects to be in a position to take a final investment decision for the construction of the LNG terminal within a few months.
