FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - E.ON AG and Turkish energy company Turcas Elektrik Ueretim AS agreed to jointly develop, construct and operate two 800 MW power plants in Turkey.
No financial details were disclosed.
The companies will found two joint ventures to execute the projects, in which E.ON's Turkish subsidiary E.ON Elektrik Ueretim Ltd will hold 70 pct, and Turcas will hold 30 pct, E.ON said in a statement.
One of the plants will be hard coal-fired, the other will use natural gas.
