VIENNA (Thomson Financial) - Uniqa Versicherungen AG is on the shortlist of possible bidders for Romanian insurance company BT Asigurari Transilvania, the Austrian press agency APA reports citing the Romanian newspaper Ziarul Financiar.
APA writes that Uniqa is seen competing with the Netherlands' Aegon and France's Groupama for BT, which is 80 pct owned by Romania's Banca Transilvania and ranks tenth in the country's insurance sector with a market share of 3.7 pct.
