BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - Cott Corp. Friday said it will miss the deadline to file its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the three-month period ending March 29, 2008.
The company said it revisited a foreign tax issue and is investigating the amount and probability of this possible liability. Cott said it needs to evaluate accounting and disclosure requirements related to this item before filing its consolidated financial statements.
The company said it doesn't expect its potential exposure to exceed $2.5 million.
