PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Ipsos said it has acquired Latin American online market research group Livra for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 1999, Livra has increased its revenues threefold over the past two years, Ipsos said, without giving figures.
Livra has 1 million Spanish and Portuguese speaking panellists in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Portugal, Spain and Venezuela. Its development plans include the U.S. Hispanic market.
The company, which has teams in Buenos Aires, London, Mexico City and Sao Paulo will continue to operate independently, managed by founders MartÃn Añazco and Diego Meller, Ipsos said.
