WASHINGTON, Dec 31 (Reuters) - U.S. Rep. Paul Kanjorski, a Pennsylvania Democrat and chairman of the House capital markets subcommittee:
* Says the Securities and Exchange Commission's inspector general and Securities Investor Protection Corp's president will testify at a congressional hearing on Monday about the alleged $50 billion investment fraud by Bernard Madoff.
* Says also testifying will be Harry Markopolos, an independent financial fraud investigator.
* The hearing is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. ET (1900 GMT) on Monday.
