BERLIN, Jan 23 (Reuters) - Efforts to save loss-making memory chip maker Qimonda are still going on, a German Economy Ministry spokeswoman said on Friday.
'The talks are underway,' the spokeswoman told a regular government news conference in Berlin, adding that the government supported this process, as did all affected state governments.
Qimonda said earlier on Friday it had filed for insolvency as it had failed to hammer out all the details of a rescue package in time.
